The Dallas Art Fair announced the 91 exhibitors who will participate in the upcoming edition. The exhibition will take place at the Fashion Industry Gallery from April 4 to 7. The list of exhibitors includes a number of Texas-based galleries. Many of them will participate for the first time, with thus making its depute appearance.
Some of the galleries participating for the first time are: Erin Cluley Gallery + Projects (of Dallas), Martha’s (Austin), 12.26 (Dallas), McClain Gallery (Houston). Also, there are Sicardi | Ayers | Bacino (Houston), and Pencil on Paper (Dallas). Amanita, Hostler Burrows, and Sow & Tailor are among the other new vendors. The fair does not only focus on Texas-based galleries and artists, but also includes institutions from all over the US.
These galleries are: Perrotin, Derek Eller Gallery, Charlie James Gallery, Deli Gallery, Franklin Parrasch and Shulamit Nazarian. Also, Marc Selwyn Fine Art, Yossi Milo, Ochi, Dreamsong, Praise Shadows, and Berggruen Gallery. The fair also has international members: Proyectos Monclova,Fabienne Levy, Secci, Galerie Max Hetzler, Josh Lilley, Kerlin Gallery, and Patel Brown
In a statement, the fair’s director Kelly Cornell described the event. “We owe our longevity to the loyalty and enthusiasm of our substantial collector base, as well as to the excellent taste and quality of our exhibitors. We have exhibitors travelling from all over the world to meet with buyers in Dallas, and it shows our city’s strength in the international art market“, the director said.
