Icelandic artist Egill Sæbjörnsson will unleash two moody, misbehaved monsters at River Bend development in the Design District for his piece, “When the Trolls Go Rolling In.” The 118-foot-tall man-eaters were a hit when he presented them at the 2017 Venice Biennale. This time, they’ll be trolling classical musicians. The performance is free and begins at 6 p.m.
That same complex, a new art-centric development in the Design District, is celebrating the beginning of Dallas Art Fair with beer, tacos, and art installations on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. The galleries, including Erin Cluley Gallery, 214 Projects, and AND NOW, will be open late for the occasion.
