Josh Lilley opened in Fitzrovia in May 2009, and has since presented over 100 exhibitions. Following a lineage of significant introductory presentations including Derek Fordjour, Kathleen Ryan, Celeste Rapone, Autumn Wallace, Timothy Lai, and Alex Da Corte, 2024-25 programming includes an inaugural exhibition from Rember Yahuarcani, alongside presentations from Nehemiah Cisneros, Tom Anholt, Ryan Mosley and Alake Shilling. Recent and upcoming gallery highlights include a career survey for Kathleen Ryan at Hamburg Kunsthalle, Rebecca Manson’s first solo museum presentation at The Modern Fort Worth, Sula Bermudez-Silverman’s inclusions in group shows at Yale University Art Gallery and The Jewish Museum; Martine Gutierrez's solo presentations at The Polygon; Rachel Maclean’s solo show at Kunsthalle Giessen; and major museum acquisitions by LACMA, the Hammer Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Sandretto Foundation, Mwoods, and the Victoria & Albert Museum.
