Hesse FlatowNew York, Amagansett
HESSE FLATOW was founded by artist Karen Hesse Flatow in 2017 as Crush Curatorial. In 2019, the gallery expanded into a 2500 square foot space in the West Chelsea Arts Building in New York City. HESSE FLATOW champions emerging and mid-career artists with diverse voices and prides itself in its intergenerational exhibitions. HF also maintains an exhibition space and residency program in Amagansett, Long Island. In addition to nurturing artists, the gallery has worked with a diverse group of curatorial talents who have expanded on our desire to explore critical discourse. Since 2017, the gallery has presented over one hundred shows and have received reviews in Art in America, Art News, The New York Times, Art Forum, The New Yorker; and have proudly placed work in the permanent collections of The Blanton Museum, ICA Miami, Princeton University Art Museum, Palm Springs Art Museum, High Museum of Art, Atlanta, among others.
