Gaa Gallery promotes a dynamic program of international contemporary artists and is committed to developing the careers of emerging artists as well as recontextualizing artists of earlier generations. The gallery provides platforms for exposure and exchange through showcasing a wide array of artists whose works are conceptually motivated and investigate the narrative and philosophical capacities of painting, sculpture, installation, and photography.
Since its inception, Gaa has expanded to two permanent gallery spaces in Cologne, Germany and the Tribeca neighbourhood of New York. Gallery artists have been exhibited and acquired by major institutions such as LACMA, MoMA, the Whitney Museum of American Art, MoCA Los Angeles, MoMA PS1, The Hammer Museum, Dallas Museum of Art, Studio Museum in Harlem, The National Museum of African American History and Culture, MASS MoCA, Pinakothek der Moderne Munich, Museum Ludwig Cologne, Kunstverein Düsseldorf among others.
