Amanita was founded in 2021 with the primary mission of supporting and exhibiting artists at various stages of their careers. Since inception, the gallery has mounted exhibitions between gallery spaces in Florence and New York as well as in non-permanent spaces in Milan, Rome, Lecce, St. Moritz, Miami, and Los Angeles. Amanita's New York gallery features 3,500 square feet of exhibition space in the location formerly home to CBGB, the historic punk-rock nightclub.
